Your Traditional Local
The Cricketers Broadwater has prided itself on being a traditional local pub since c.1756 and that traditional style is carried on with landlord Alan Walker and his team. As you enter the pub you are met with an array of cricket club photo's past and present, old nic nacs line the picture rails that remind you of an age gone by and the decor is inviting and cosy.
Blackboards list the current selection of award winning Real ales on offer and change at a phenomenal rate as the pub has been known to go through over one hundred different ales in one year. The wine list has a quality feel at good value prices and an array of your favourite spirits are always on offer.
The menu lists your favourite pub classics with an emphasis on dishes being prepared freshly on site using ingredients sourced from local Sussex producers and suppliers.
Summer at the Cricks
With one of the largest beer gardens in Worthing The Cricketers has a lot to offer everyone throughout the summer. Our garden has a childrens play area to keep the kiddies occupied whilst Mum & Dad can enjoy one of our freshly prepared dishes from our new summer menu relax with one of our award winning real ales or a bottle of wine from fantastic cellar .
A host of events are planned for the summer including "THE BIG LUNCH", face painting, skittles, live music, karaoke and our famous Annual Beer Festival. Check out our events page for full details and to keep updated as new events are added.
Following our complete Kichen Re-Furb we now have our summer menu on offer with an emphasis on the use of Sussex produce and suppliers. Our hours for food service hours have changed and are now Mon - Thurs 12 noon - 3pm, Fri & Sat 12 noon - 9pm and Sunday 12 noon - 6pm
